Vogue Italia e the corner , diventato un appuntamento irrinunciabile della settimana della moda Milanese.


Giunta alla terza edizione , la mostra rivela 11 nuovi talenti internazionali , specializzati in abbigliamento , calzature, gioielli e accessori selezionati in tutto il mondo da Vogue Italia e the corner   per il loro approccio innovativo alla moda . La missione è la scoperta del talento per offrire un'opportunità concreta ai designer selezionati , supportando l' evoluzione dei loro brand attraverso la vetrina globale di the corner .

La presentazione interattiva del percorso permette ai visitatori di immergersi nel mondo e nelle collezione dei designer , che grazie ai nuovi tablet samsung galaxy note 10.1 installati all'interno del Palazzo Morando , che erano accessibili online per l' acquisto delle collezioni PE 13 , in tempo reale , solo su the corner . la Presentazione grafica del progetto è la fusione perfetta tra il mondo fisico , della location e dei capi , e la dimensione digitale dell' e-commerce .

Ricerca e innovazione . L' innovazione del portare nel fisico la dimensione digitale di the corner , composta da elementi grafici e creativi che prendono vita a Palazzo Morando attraverso un percorso nel quale i visitatori scoprono il talento .
Ogni designer ha avuto anche l'opportunità di creare un moodboard digitale per esprimere la propria visione , utilizzando galaxy note 10.1 e il pennino elettronico S pen ; oltre alle collezioni PE13 ogni designer ha avuto l'opportunità di presentare anche la collezione AI 13-14 .


During the Milan fashion week i have the opportunity to visit the vogue talents corner .

Scouting new talent is once again the pulsating soul of " The vogue talents corner " , a high profile project-event created by Vogue Italia and the corner that has become a key appointment during Milan fashion week.

Now in its third season , the exhibition  showcases 11 international innovative talents specialized in apparel , footwear , jewelry and accessories selected by Vogue Italia and the corner for their groundbreaking approach to fashion. As with past edition , the mission at the base of this talent scouting project is to offer the designers selected a concrete opportunity in the fashion industry by supporting the evolution of their brand on
Vogue Italia and through the global exposure of the corner .

The interactive presentation allows visitors to dip into the world of each designer while the new samsung galaxy note 10.1 tablets installed inside the venue grant direct access to purchase theis SS 13 collections on
the corner  from a design standpoint , the itinerary was conceived to create a perfect cohesion between the physical world of the creations and the location with the digital one of e-commerce .

In an innovative move , the digital dimension of the corner  , composed by creative graphic elements , comes to life in Palazzo Morando  through a journey that every visitor is embrked on . Every designer also had the opportunity to create a digital moodboard that will reveal their unique creative  visions through the  galaxy note 10.1 that is showcased in Palazzo Morando as well as on the corner .

In addition to the SS13 collections each designer had also the opportunity to present their FW13/14 collection.

GLI STILISTI / THE DESIGNERS

AGANOVICH

Aganovich nasce dall' incontro tra Nana Aganovich e Brooke Taylor a Londra nel 2002 . Un brand di moda che sfrutta al meglio i loro comuni punti di forza . Inizialmente basati in Inghilterra , hanno poi scelto Parigi come loro "spiritual home " e sede dove hanno presentato la loro prima collezione nel 2009 . Sono state presto inserite nel calendario ufficiale della settimana della moda , ottenendo sia il successo commerciale che l' approvazione della stampa . La collezione PE13 è caratterizzata da tagli architettonici ed edgy evidenziati da silhoulette attillate , stampe grafiche e colori bold .

Aganovich stems from the encounter between Nana Aganovich and Brooke Taylor in London in 2002 that later launched a fashion label so as to make the most of their mutual strengths. Initalilly based in the UK , they soon chose Paris as the spiritual home and showed their first collection in 2009 , quickly gaining access to the official calendar and garnering both critical and commercial success. Now based in Paris , the brand's spring 2013 focus is architectural and edgy cuts highlighted by flowing or nipped silhouettes , graphic petterns and bold colors.

AQUAZURRA

Nato in Colombia , Edgario Osorio è cresciuto tra Miami e Londra prima di frequentare il London college of fashion e la Central Saint Martins . Dopo la laurea ha lavorato per brand affermati come Salvatore Ferragamo , Sigerson Morrison , Renè Caovilla e Roberto Cavalli . Lanciato nel 2011 , aquazzura ricerca un equilibrio perfetto tra design moderno e artigianale , producendo modelli che sono allo stesso tempo contemporaneo e alla moda oltre che confortevoli , apprezzati dalle riviste di moda internazionali più influenti .Gli highlight della primavera includono sandali con tacco e pump con cinturino alla caviglia , alternate in scarpe basse in shiny gold.

Colombian-born Edgardo Osorio grew up between Miami and London before attending the London college of fashion and Central saint martins and later gaining experience working for such established names as Salvatore Ferragamo , Sigerson Morrison , Renè Caovilla and Roberto Cavalli . Launched in 2011 , aquazzura strikes the perfect belance between modern design and impeccable craftsmanship, producing contemporary and edgy yet incredibily confortable designs that have been lauded by the most influential fashion publications across the globe. Spring highlights include teetering strappy sandals or ankle-strap pumps counterpointed by pretty flats in shiny gold.

DANIELE CARLOTTA

Daniele Carlotta , nato in Sicilia nel 1985 e figlio di commercianti di tessuto , ha sviluppato un forte senso per lo stile affascinato fin da giovane dal mondo della moda . Dopo essersi laureato in fashion design e styling , ha  lanciato il suo brand nel 2005 , continuando a viaggiare e consolidando una forte identità artistica e una buona conoscenza sartoriale . Tessuti di alta qualità , silhouette ricercate e dettagli gioiello unici caratterizzano le collezioni di Daniele combinando l' essenza della raffinatezza italiana con influenze artistiche . Un' eleganza del vecchio mondo rivisitata con una mano contemporanea contraddistingue la collezione PE13 con un gioco di trasparenze e di alternanze di lunghezze e capi extra short .

Born in Sicily in 1985 , Daniele Carlotta grew up surrounded by a strong sense of style instilled by his fabric dealer mother . Upon graduating as a fashion designer and stylist , he launched his brand in 2005 but kept travelling all over the world , fueling a strong artisitic identity and a fine sartorial knowledge . Combining high quality fabrics , carefully studied silhouettes and unique jewel details , Daniele's collection capture the essence of italian sophistication infused with numerous influences from the art world . An old-world elegance revisited with a contemporary hand traces the spring collection underscored by either super long or ultra short lengths and a play on trasparencies .

FENTON

La designer Dana Lorenz ha lanciato Fenton nel 2006 . Dopo essersi . Dopo essersi laureata in pittura all' university of  Iowa e all' art institute of Chicago , Dana è entrata nel settore della moda , lavorando per Gucci e Donna Karan . La sua passione per i gioielli è cresciuta fino a farla diventare una delle designer cult del momento . Con un mix elaborato di elementi inaspettati , dalla corda ai cristalli alle catene e influenze dell pop culture , le collezioni di Fenton hanno molta personalità . Dana è stata uno dei finalisti del prestigioso premio CFDA/Vogue fashion fund del 2011 . La nuova collezione è caratterizzata da catene d'oro , d'argento e nere , ornate con audaci pietre colorate. 

Designer Dana Lorenz launched Fenton in 2006 . After obtaining degrees as a painter from the University of Iowa and the school of the art institute of chicago , Dana entered the fashion industry , working for Gucci and Donna Karan . Her passion for jewelry design eventually grew into a cult label with a global following . An elaborate mix of unexpected elements , from rope to crystals to chains , Fenton's collection are infused with pop culture influences that make strong statements . Dana was a finalist for the prestigious 2011 CFDA/Vogue fashion fund . Hard-edged gold , silver and black chains ,often in multiple stands adorned with bold colored stones characterize the new collection .

HEAVEN TANUDIREDJA

Nato a Bali , Heaven Tanudiredja ha studiato moda all' Antwerp royal academy of fine arts , dopo avere iniziato la sua cariera già all' età di 15 anni come un assistente in una sartoria in Indonesia . Dopo aver vinto numerosi premi in età adolescente , Heaven ha lanciato il suo brand di gioielli nel 2007 , usando principalmente jais e cristalli antichi , assumendo fama internazionale nel settore della moda . Ha disegnato collezioni uomo , donna e di gioielli collaborando con brand come Christian Dior haute couture , Dries Van Noten , e il designer Coreano Juun J. . La nuova collezione PE13 presenta bracciali di perline nelle tonalità del verde e dell' azzurro , e catene in argento con pendenti grafici scolpiti .

The recipient of multiple awards while still a student , he launched his jewelry brand in 2007 using mainly French jet and antique crystal , soon gaining worldwide industry acclaim. Active in both womenswear and menswear as well as jewelry , he has collaborated with such established and cutting-edge names as Christian Dior haute couture , Dries Van Noten and the Korean designer Juun J. . The new SS13 collection features beaded bracelets in shades of green and azure to be worn in multiple as well as silver chains with graphically chiseled pendants .

J.JS. LEE

La designer coreana J.JS. LEE (Jackie Lee) si è laureata alla Central saint martins in un master in womenswear nel 2010 . A marzo dello stesso anno lancia il suo brand . Le sue collezione sono caratterizzate da forme eleganti e androgine combinate con dettagli femminili che attingono da tecniche sartoriali tradizionali . Dopo aver vinto il prestigioso premio NEWGEN nel 2011 presentando il suo lavoro al " London show rooms " , si è affermata come una delle designer più acclamate della nuova generazione Britannica . Una vena di "less is more" passa attraverso la nuova collezione con colori neutri ariosi , bottoni invisibili e forme morbide ed avvolgenti .

Korean born designer J.JS. LEE ( Jackie Lee ) graduated from Central saint martins with an MA in womenswear in 2010 , subsequently launching her label in march 2010 . Her collections feature sleek androgynous shapes offset by feminine details that draw upon intricate and traditional tailoring techniques . Having won the prestigious NEWGEN initiative in 2011 and presented her work at the London show rooms in Paris and New York , she has established herself as one of the most critically acclaimed designer of the new British generation . A less-is-more vein runs through the new collection with airy neutrals , invisible buttons and soft cocooning shapes .

KIRSTY WARD

Basata a Londra , la designer Kirsty Ward si è laureata alla central saint martins in un master in womenswear . Qui ha cominciato a sviluppare la sua passione per le strutture non convenzionali dando enfasi alle forme . Laureata con lode è stata selezionata immediatamente da Alberta Ferretti per fare parte del suo team creativo . Dopo aver affinato la sua esperienza da Alberta Ferretti , Kristy Ward ha lanciato il suo brand omonimo alla fine del 2010 . La sua estetica celebra tagli bold e strutture definite , utilizzando elementi distintivi , come gli ornamenti gioiello che sono diventati una sorta di trademark . London based desgner Kirsty Ward completed the prestigious womenswear MA at Central saint martins.

It was there that she began to develop her penchant for unconventional structures and an emphasis on form . Graduating with a distinction she was immediately tapped by Alberta Ferretti to design for her in Italy . After a year and half honing her craft with Alberta , Kristy Ward launched her eponymous label in late 2010 . Her aesthetic celebrates bold cuts , defined structures and incorporate distinctive elements such as the jeweled embellishments that have become something of a trademark . Necklaces dominate the new collection with a tribal fringed feel in a rainbow of colors spinning yellow , lilac , torquoise , coral and brown .

KZENIYA

Laureata alla Central saint martins , Kzeniya Oudenot ha iniziato la sua carriera organizzando eventi e progettando scene e costumi teatrali realizzati con le più moderne tecnologie per opere e balletti . Dopo aver lavorato per Alexander Mcqueen , la Royal opera house e il Scottish Ballet , ha presentato la sua collezione in gallerie e musei a Londra e a Parigi , prima di lanciare il suo brand nel 2010 . Il suo brand è conosciuto per accessori in cuoio di qualità artigianale impeccabile e tecniche di lavorazioni sperimentali . Bold , grafiche e futuristiche , le clutch e le borse rigide di questa stagione sono caratterizzate da dettagli in Perspex in argento e oro.

Cental saint martins graduate Kzeniya Oudenot starting out organizing events and designing sets and costumes , made with cutting-edge technologies for operas and ballets . After working for the likes of Alexander McQueen , the Royal opera house and the scottish ballet , she showcased her work in museums and galleries in London and Paris before launching her brand in 2010 , having fallen in love for the art of leather accessories . Her eponymous label stands now for impeccably crafted , experimental leather pieces such as clutches and shoulder bags . Bold , graphic and futuristic , the season latest rigid-frame clutches and handbags glitter with silver and gold perspex details .

L'F UNISEX

Nati in Italia e laureati in moda , Licia Florio e Francio Ferrari hanno fondato il loro brand di calzature unisex in Piemonte nel 2010 . L'F è l' acronimo di Licia e Francio . Con l' intenzione di produrre un prodotto di alta qualità Italiana , hanno creato un modello di brogue fermato e strutturato in modo da essere portato senza lacci , per uomo e donna . Usando i materiali più raffinati , la collezione presenta colori vivaci , dettagli distintivi , come le borchie utilizzate per la collezione PE13 e pelli perlate nelle tonalità pastello.

Italian born fashion graduate Licia Florio and Francio Ferreri established their unisex footwear brand in Piedmont in 2010 . L'F stands for the acronym of Licia and Francio . Setting out to produce a high quality Italian product with a twist , they came up with a signature brogue engineered so as to be used without shoelaces and designed to fit both men and women . Using the finest materials the range features vibrant hues and distinctive embellishments such as the studs used for the SS13 collection , alongside pretty pearlized leathers in blush colors . 

PALMER//HARDING

Levi Palmer e Matthew Hardig , laureati alla Central saint martins hanno lanciato il loro brand due anni fa , focalizzandosi da subito su un capo iconico : la camicia . Adattando tecniche sperimantali con la tradizione sartoriale , producono capi con una forte identità stilistica , creando un nuovo standard di creatività dal design pulito , unico e di eccellente qualità combinando la perfetta vestibilità . Le camicie corte con la cintura in vita e le maniche a kimono , o gli abiti-camicia lunghi in arancio e bianco sono i capi irrinunciabili della primavera .

Central saint martins graduates Levi Palmer and Matthew Harding launched their brand two years ago , setting out to explore the potential of a single garment : the shirt . Experimenting with pattern-cutting to adapt traditional techniques and produce directional garments , they have established a new standard of creativity , designing clean , individual , superbly crafted pieces whose hidden technicalities combine to create the perfect fit . Cropped belted versions with short kimono sleeves or eleganted shirt dresses in orange or white are sprin standouts .

Vs2R

Nato in Puglia nel 1979 , Vincenzo Somarrelli , in un primo momento affascinato dall' architettura e dalla scienza a 24 anni si iscrive allo IED di Milano , per seguire la sua passione per il mondo della moda . Dopo aver maturato l' esperienza nel settore degli accessori , ha lanciato il suo brand nel 2011 con l'ambizione di mescolare linee morbide con forme geometriche , combinando un approccio scientifico ad un forte senso artistico . Con una particolare attenzione ai dettagli , le sue collezioni enfatizzano la struttura piuttosto che  le decorazioni , la collezione è caratterizzata da forme grafiche e tacchi splendidamente scolpiti , modelli esclusivi rigorosi e allo stesso tempo sensuali .

Born in the south of Italy in 1979 , Vincenzo Somarrelli first pursued his interest in science and architecture before deciding to study fashion design at Milan IED . After a few experiences in the accessories industry , hi launched his own footwear brand in 2011 with the ambition to blend geometric shapes and soft lines , combining a scientific aproach with a stong artistic sense . With a keen eye for details , his collection emphasize structure rather than embellishments , featuring a distinctive range of graphic styles finished off by beautifully sculpted heels . The latter , combined with artsy cuts and elegant color combinations create exclusive and eleborate pumps that are both rigorous and sensual .
